Dr. Peter Mortensen completed his ophthalmology residency in 2020 at UPMC. He then completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital under the direction of Dr. Andrew Lee in 2021. He worked at Houston Methodist Hospital until earlier this year as a full-time neuro-ophthalmologist and recently joined UPMC as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in May 2025.
