Dr. Safran is from Newtown, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. In addition to his dedication to becoming an excellent ophthalmologist, Dr. Safran is an origami artist who has been folding complex designs for over 20 years. He also enjoys working on other creative projects, including sketching, painting, and app development.
