Dr. Gideon Nkrumah graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with Doctor of Optometry degree honors. He completed post-baccalaureate pre-med classes at the University of Cincinnati and his M.D at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Prior to starting his ophthalmology training at UPMC, he completed a Transitional year in Internal Medicine at UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA.
