Dr. Roxana Fu is an Assistant Professor in the Oculoplastic, Orbital and Aesthetic Service at the UPMC Eye Center/Department of Ophthalmology University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She has a BA/MA in Biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas and she received her MD from the same institution. She had a General Surgery Internship and the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, followed by Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and an Oculoplastics Fellowship from the University of Louisville, Kentucky and Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was a Visiting Clinical Instructor at the University of Louisville, Kentucky and Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana followed by an appointment as Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland before returning to the UPMC Eye Center.

She is currently engaged in researching A Novel Image Guided Orbital Decompression Training Model for Novice Surgeons, Risk factors associated with evisceration or enucleation for recalcitrant endophthalmitis, and the Role of lymphangiogenesis in orbital lymphaticovenous malformations.
